2011 New Beginnings

I specifically chose today, Thursday, the 3rd of February to start a new blog.

New Year - again (by the Chinese Calendar this time) It's the Year Of The Metal/Gold Rabbit.

New moon, in the sign of Aquarius, a sign of the Humanitarian, of the World.

And I have designated this year for myself as "Make New Friends" Year.

I don't know for certain what this entails, and hopefully, unlike my blog of yore on Livejournal - I will be able to update this more regularly.

This will be...a most interesting year I think.  I feel it will be one of those where lessons will continue to be learned - or so I hope.

I'll even try to include photos and stuff.  I'd like to thank my friend Dennis for giving me an extra "push" to get on with this.  I'd also like to thank another friend, Ceia, who helped "tip the balance" in favor of blogspot over another blogsite. It's been on my mind to begin a new internet rambling site, and now we're here.

You'll find I am a creature of habit, albeit possibly strange ones, if not odd - certainly, expect me to talk of Pepsi, Coffee, Astrology and the like.

There may be days when it's just a rant about something that irks me (but isn't that what some blogs are about?)  It will be about my living with the ever evolving condition of having Lupus (Cerebritis) and being Bipolar while I'm at it.  Gee, I wish I could draw, or even paint - who knows, it could be my year of discovering a latent (a very latent) talent. ;-)

Let's keep our fingers crossed, knock on wood thrice and hold good thoughts for each other, shall we?
